. The description in Exodus 14 is amazing but if that’s all the Bible said about it we might not know how important it was. The reason we know it’s important is because it’s mentioned multiple times in the Old Testament such as Psalm 66:6, 78:13, 106:9, 136:13 and New Testament Acts 7:36, Hebrews 11:29. It’s so important we need to remember it.
As 2014 draws to a close it would do us all well to remember what God has done for us this past year. Sometimes we have fantastic Red Sea experiences but usually not. More often what we do have are clear demonstrations of God’s love and care and protection. Here are five reasons why it’s good for us to remember what God did in our lives this past year.

When we remember God’s wonderful deeds we honor Him and somehow reap a benefit ourselves. It’s a win, win. Let’s finish 2014 with a win!
