14 Years Later Remembering September 11th Today as a nation we will be remembering September 11th, 2001. It’s an important time for reflection. I, like many people my age and older, have lived through a number of tragically significant events. Today we’re remembering September 11th but many other national tragedies come to mind. In my lifetime I remember the assassinations of President Kennedy (1963), Martin Luther King (1968) and Senator Kennedy (1968).
