I agree with the ignorance factor. Most people know very little about the Bible–let alone spiritual warfare.

That’s interesting. I haven’t thought about shame being a factor but you’re probably right. In this case it is closely related to pride, not wanting to show were vulnerable.
I agree with you about laziness but I would probably lump laziness into the indifference category. The problem is that if one is indifferent or lazy it is partially because it doesn’t seem real. Even a lazy person will run when really attacked. The sad thing is we are all attacked and many are harmed spiritually but don’t realize it!

I think there’s also a “Shame” factor. People, Christians in particular don’t like to accept that they are susceptible to “attack,” and won’t admit to others and often themselves their vulnerabilities.

Then there’s a “Laziness” factor that makes thinking about it is too much work.

Society has so many distractions, it’s easy to be drawn away from…
