Hi Cadence, it may mean a couple of things. First, there may have been no demons near you when his name was called. Second, if you are a Christian he may not answer you because you have the Spirit of God within you defending you and so he didn’t want to interact with you. Our God may have protected you and not let him talk to you. Whatever the reason I believe you are fortunate he didn’t answer. It can open you up to hearing from him when you aren’t playing the game.

you probably won’t be affected if you only watch and don’t participate. I believe they really are demons but they seem to need an opportunity or open door to affect people. That happens by playing the game and also trying to talk to them in other ways. I have seen a few, maybe six or seven YouTube videos and was not affected. I haven’t seen anyone play it in person and if someone tried to play around me I would leave. I think you can tell it isn’t good. I’d stop watching just to be safe.

I wish I could give you a simple yes or no answer but I can’t. If you’re in the room when people are playing it could affect you. That isn’t 100 percent certain. The people who are playing are definitely opening themselves up to contact with the evil spirit. Just being in the room doesn’t mean that will happen. Evil spirits do seem to attach themselves to people and places, like specific rooms.

The only time I was around some friends playing with the Ouija board (which is the same thing as #CharlieCharlieChallenge) I watched them and nothing happened to me. I was probably in 8th or 9th grade. It was only one time. I think the more time a person is exposed to demons the greater the chance they will affect your life. I would say that if they do it again tell them that you’re not interested and leave the room until they are done.
